Nuherbs to Showcase Herb Format Options, Celebrate 45th Anniversary

Nuherbs, a third-generation family-owned supplier of Chinese herbs, will highlight its range of format options for its organic herbs at SupplySide West. Attendees are also invited to toast Nuherbs’ 45th anniversary on Wednesday afternoon at its poolside cabana.
As the range of product delivery systems grows, Nuherbs can help customers find ingredients to fit proposed forms, advise on the best fit when it comes to flavor, color, and function, and guide product development from concept, to formulating to specs, claims substantiation, and contract manufacturer selection.
Lisa Thomas, chief commercialization officer, will be a presenter for “Supplements 101: An exploration of dietary supplement foundations” on Tuesday Oct. 29 form 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Thomas has spent 20 years in the natural products industry, specializing in strategy, botanical product innovation, and quality and safety compliance. Before joining Nuherbs, she led product development, marketing, and innovation for Herbalife, and spent nearly a decade with NSF International, overseeing the dietary supplement and sports nutrition third-party verification programs. Thomas is also a former professional soccer player, and brings health and wellness knowledge specific to athletes.
